    Florence Nightingale (May 12, 1820 – August 13, 1910) was a British nurse and the founder of modern nursing and nursing education.

    In 1820, Nightingale was born in Florence, Italy. After studying nursing in Germany, I worked at a hospital in London. In 1853, she became the head nurse of a charity hospital in London. On October 21, 1854, he and 38 nurses went to work at the Crimean Field Hospital. Becoming the head nurse of the hospital, she made every effort to persuade the British military to open hospitals in the field and provide medical care for soldiers. She analyzed the mountains of military archives and pointed out that in the Crimean War, the cause of death for the British army was due to infection outside the battlefield, and the serious injuries and deaths caused by inadequate care after being injured on the battlefield. However, there were not many people who actually died on the battlefield. She used a circular chart to illustrate these materials. Also known as the "Angel of Crimea" or "Lantern Angel". On August 13, 1910, Nightingale passed away at the age of 90. Nightingale was the world's first true female nurse, who founded the nursing profession. "Nightingale" has also become synonymous with the spirit of nurses. The International Nurses Day on May 12th was established on Nightingale's birthday to commemorate the founder of modern nursing.  

    Jean Henri Dunant (May 8, 1828 – October 30, 1910), male, born in Geneva, Switzerland, is a Swiss businessman, humanitarian, 1901 Nobel Peace Prize winner, founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross, and an undeniable great figure. He pioneered a great cause that is renowned worldwide and benefits all humanity, and is revered as the "Father of the Red Cross". His birthday - May 8th every year (his birthday) is World Red Cross Day. For nearly half a century, on this day, humanitarians around the world have been commemorating a great figure who moved humanity and changed human history - Henry Dunant, the father of the International Red Cross movement.
